If you’re unsure about your coverage or have questions about copays or deductibles, we can identify any out of pocket costs before your first session.
What is your availability for sessions?
I currently see clients Monday through Thursday, with a mix of daytime and limited evening appointments. Those later spots tend to fill quickly, so if you're hoping for evening session and one isn’t available right away, we can begin with a daytime session and I’ll gladly add you to my waitlist for your preferred time.
For school-aged clients, I’m happy to provide attendance letters if needed. I also offer virtual sessions for Ohio residents, which can be a convenient option during the day.
Are there services you don't provide?
I am unable to provide medication prescriptions, court-mandated therapy, ADHD/Autism assessments, and letters for ESA.
What can I expect during a session?
Sessions typically begin with a brief check-in or grounding moment to help us settle in and identify what feels most important to focus on. From there, we’ll move into processing, skill-building, or whatever feels most supportive that day.
Throughout our time together, we may pause to check in with your body and nervous system, making adjustments as needed to keep you feeling regulated and supported.
We’ll usually close with a quick reflection or grounding exercise before ending.
You’re always welcome to make yourself comfortable—grab a fidget, sip something warm, or get cozy. This space is yours, and my goal is for you to feel safe, supported, and at ease.
What approach do you use in therapy? What if it doesn’t work?
I blend evidence-based approaches like CBT, DBT skills, EMDR, and nervous system focused work. Some sessions are skill-building. Some are deeper pattern work. Often, they’re both.

If something doesn’t feel helpful, we talk about it. Therapy isn’t rigid, it’s collaborative. We’ll adjust the approach so it fits you, not the other way around.

If you ever have questions or concerns, you’re welcome to reach out between sessions via email or Simple Practice.
How long will someone be in therapy?
There’s no one-size-fits-all timeline when it comes to therapy. Some clients benefit from short-term support focused on specific goals, while others may need longer-term care depending on their needs, experiences, and progress.
I typically recommend starting with bi-weekly sessions to build rapport and create consistency. Along the way, I check in regularly to share updates, assess progress, and adjust goals as needed.
The overall goal is to help each client feel more confident, equipped, and supported in navigating life’s challenges, both in and outside of the therapy space.
What if I don’t have insurance or my insurance isn’t accepted?
If you're not using insurance, I offer private pay options and a limited number of sliding scale spots to help make therapy more accessible. These spots are reserved for situations where there’s a strong clinical fit, and availability may vary.
If I’m unable to offer a sliding scale spot at the time, I’m happy to provide referrals to trusted providers who may better fit your financial or insurance needs.
